2 Timothy 1:15-18

We're finishing up 2 Timothy 1 by taking a quick look at a couple of specific people in Paul's life. We get a glimpse into some differences in levels of faithfulness and how Paul feels about this. There is also a reference to how we still may feel today if someone we know is in prison. Let's take a look.

2 Timothy 1:8-14

Let's continue going through 2 Timothy. We will pick up right where we left off and see what we can learn. We saw last time that Paul had a fatherly role in Timothy's life, particularly with regard to his faith. Now, Paul will continue to encourage Timothy is somewhat more specific terms and covers a topic that is not uncommon in the Bible; courage.

2 Timothy 1:1-7

It may seem strange that I would be starting in 2 Timothy. This being my first actual post, one might think that I would start with the Gospel of Matthew or Genesis or something like that. Perhaps even 1 Timothy would seem to make more sense. The main reason for starting in 2 Timothy is that, in my own reading plan that I'm following, this just happened to be the next book I was starting and so it just worked out this way.
